Maintenance and Replacement of Screw Air Compressor Oil-Air Separator

Oil-air separator is the screw lubricating oil and compressed air separation components, under normal operation, the service life of the oil-air separator in the 3000 hours or so, but the quality of lubricating oil and air filtration precision has a huge impact on its life. It can be seen in the harsh use of the environment must shorten the maintenance and replacement cycle of the air filter element, and even consider adding the front air filter. The oil-air separator must be replaced when it expires or when the pressure difference between front and rear exceeds 0.12Mpa. Otherwise, it will cause motor overload, oil and gas separator breakage and oil running.

1, remove the oil and gas barrel cover installed on the control pipe connector. Take out the oil and gas barrel cover to extend into the oil and gas barrel back to the oil pipe, remove the oil and gas barrel cover fastening bolts.

2. Remove the upper cover of the oil and gas drum and take out the oil and gas separator. Remove the asbestos gasket and dirt stuck on the upper cover.

3、Fit the new oil-air separator, note that the upper and lower asbestos gaskets must be stapled, and the asbestos gaskets must be placed neatly when pressed, otherwise it will cause the gasket to be washed out.

4、Fit back the upper cover plate, oil return pipe, each control pipe as it is, and check whether there is any leakage.
