Disposal plan for air compressor faults

Air compressors are commonly used equipment in industrial production, which can compress air, store it in pressure tanks, and then be used for power drive of various equipment. However, due to its complex working principle and long-term use, air compressor failures are also inevitable. Proper response and disposal of faults can not only avoid unnecessary losses, but also greatly improve production efficiency and ensure safe production.

Air compressor faults can be classified into the following categories:

1、 Operational faults

1. Abnormal pressure: If the pressure of the air compressor is too high, it will cause the safety valve to trip, and vice versa, it will cause the equipment to malfunction. For this type of fault, you can first check whether the pressure regulator and pressure gauge are normal. If necessary, it can be debugged or replaced.

2. Abnormal temperature: The air compressor may generate high temperatures during normal operation, but if the temperature is abnormal, it can cause equipment malfunction. To solve this problem, you can first check whether the heat sink is working properly, or check if there are problems with the sensors and temperature controller.

2、 Mechanical failure

1. Bearing failure: Bearing failure can cause increased friction in the equipment, and in severe cases, it can cause immediate shutdown of the equipment. The correct response to this fault is to lubricate and repair the bearings. If it cannot be repaired, the bearings need to be replaced.

2. Seal failure: Seal problems can cause a decrease in equipment air pressure or pressure leakage, resulting in air leakage. To solve this problem, you can check the seals for damage or damage, find the cause, and repair or replace them.

3、 Electrical fault

1. Switch failure: A switch failure may cause the device to fail to start or stop. To solve this problem, you can check if the switch is faulty or if the circuit is short/open, repair or replace the faulty component.

Main control board failure: A main control board failure may cause program issues or ineffective control of the device. To solve this problem, you can check if there is a problem with the main control board and replace or repair the fault.
